Commuting, studio workouts, day trips or your front porch—you’ll want this tumbler by your side. Thanks to Stanley’s vacuum insulation, your water will stay ice-cold, hour after hour. The advanced FlowState™ lid features a rotating cover with three positions: a straw opening designed to resist splashes while holding the reusable straw in place, a drink opening, and a full-cover top. The ergonomic handle includes comfort-grip inserts for easy carrying, and the narrow base fits just about any car cup holder.
Other than that this tumbler keeps ice for the entire day which keeps my water ice cold all day. I highly recommend the Stanley tumbler.
The handle is comfortable. The light color doesn't scratch as easy as one might think. I've placed it in my cars cup holder, workspace counters ...I plan to travel with it soon. I don't mind if one day it does scratch.
The straw is like a small boba straw. Makes it easier when cleaning. O BTW, please only handwash!! Instructions suggest handwashing Stanley's instead of dish washer.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
Overall, a good product. But not sure if worth the hype.
First, my daughter loves this tumbler. She's become quite attached to it, and if she's drinking a couple of these 40-oz tumblers each day while at school, I know she's staying hydrated, which brings me a deep sense of reassurance as a parent.
The standout feature of the Stanley Quencher is its ability to keep water cold for an impressively long time. Even on scorching hot days, the water inside remains refreshingly cold, ensuring that my daughter stays hydrated throughout the day.
From a practical standpoint, the tumbler is also well-designed. The lid and straw make it easy for my daughter to drink from, and the construction feels incredibly durable and built to last. Plus, the vacuum insulation means no condensation on the outside, preventing any messes or slippery hands.
The Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler has become an essential part of my daughter's daily routine. Its ability to keep water cold and its practical design make it a winner in my book.
We got the yellow cup (it's beautiful) and my daughter was thrilled (and very grateful) to take her new tumbler to school!!!
It is quite large and unweildy and leaks quite easily, so personally I wouldn't really carry it around anywhere outside the house, except for car errands. If you are driving and running errands, it fits well in a cup holder.
The straw is easy to sip from, and so it can be quite soothing to sip some ice cold water while working and focusing on something.
The bottom of the cup is kind of loud when you put it on the table, so I got a silicone boot/coaster for it, and to protect that lead pellet from any sort of damage! lol If you have a wobbily surface, it will tip over and start leaking! It's a little top heavy by design.
I've found it pretty easy to clean. It hasn't gotten dirty very easily. I only use it for water.
While the product doesn't really blow my mind, it is aesthetically pleasing and gets the job done. It's a little pick me up or a shiny object to look at on your desk while you are working. It does come in handy for long work days.
That said, it's friggin amazing. I have small girl sized hands, size medium in mechanix gloves for reference. The handle is perfect for me to fit my four fingers through for carrying.
I only drink cold beverages and always with ice. It's temperature and ice retention is outstanding.
Top dribbles if it falls over. Perfectly fine with me because it's not marketed as leak proof.
100% satisfied, my new full time work at home mandatory equipment.
I would probably choose a cheaper option if you don't care as much about long-term use. The cup is worth the money still, but you do not need a Stanley Cup. As someone skeptical, I can say that it is a good cup that works, it gets the job done and is nice to have if you are someone invested who does not like wasting plastic bottles.
The fact that the Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState tumbler can leak through the straw/sip hole if tipped did not come as a surprise. It's a consequence of the design and readily apparent simply by looking at the tumbler's design. I do not throw my Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState in a backpack or leave it tipped over on a car seat or on furniture. The convenience of having the straw readily available at all times and the fact that the Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState tumbler rests securely in the cup holders of both of my vehicles far outweighs any concerns I have about leakage. Fast food and coffee boutique cups are far more prone to tipping and leaking than is my Stanley tumbler.
I'm glad that I picked the 30 oz size. It's a good compromise between capacity and convenience of use and handling. I think the 40 oz would have been difficult to contend with, especially if you are holding the tumbler with only one hand. My previous tumblers were in the 20 oz range without handles which was a bit too small. Even with a smaller 20 oz capacity, the versions of the same tumbler with handles seemed rather flimsy compared to the Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState. I upgraded to a 30 oz version of my other brand tumbler, but the handle was detachable and never felt totally secure, especially when trying to use it with a cupholder.
Again, the Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState tumbler hit the mark on all of my requirements. But I never imagined that I'd now be part of a pop cult and tumbler meme. Pretty crazy.
My granddaughter saw my Blue Spruce and she wanted the same color. Went to Dicks and saw the latest limited edition Chrome Black. Tempted to get it. But how many mugs does a person need? My granddaughter loves black. But she still decided on the Blue Spruce. Definitely glad we purchased these mugs. Especially since it’s getting a teen to drink more water. I researched the lead issue being mentioned. Google it. Trust me, I’m a clean product freak and I’m not concerned.
It keeps my coffee hot long enough so then I can have some in the morning before my walk and some after my walk without it cooling at all.
This isn't the best cup if you're going hiking or out on the town. But this is a great water bottle if you are working at a desk all day and you want to keep habitually drinking water throughout the day. Definitely recommend!
My first view of these models was from a car fire. The car was totaled but the drink still had ice in it. Then there was a rush on them because of some tik tok video. But in reality they are just good. And they have a lifetime warranty! Take THAT, Yeti!!
I took a little longer than expect to figure out how the lid works. Technology keeps improving things. Or I’m getting old
The real surprise is that if I have a drink in this and go to bed with it, the ice is still there in the morning. Plus it feels even colder. Maybe because of the ice and the insulation. The contents are not watered down at all.
Worth every penny of the price.
The only problem I have had since delivery, I totally forgot to tip the young man who delivered, and he highly deserved it.
Pros:
I seriously was impressed how beautifully packaged it was. The cup was wrapped in tissue inside the beautiful black box, which was also wrapped in tissue and packed inside a regular brown Stanley box. The cup is gorgeous to say the least. It fits in my truck console perfectly. If you drink a lot, this is the cup for you. It’s big!
Cons:
I was always a Yeti and Hydrapeak girl. I am also clumsy and forgetful. So when I saw the video of the Stanley cup that survived the car fire I thought “that’s an indestructible cup!” Then I saw videos of people bragging about how it keeps your drink cold for 48 hrs. That’s not true. I tend to leave my ice water sitting around and within a few hours the ice is already melting. I assumed the ice wouldn’t melt thru the night but it does. That would be the only bad thing which really isn’t that bad because the drink is cold just no ice.
I do love it. I ordered a 30 oz pastel tie dye one directly from Stanley’s website recently and it wasn’t packaged like this was which was odd. It was wrapped in tissue loosely in a regular brown box. I’ll see how well that holds ice before I commit to this brand. But so far I’m 75% satisfied
The straw is wider open than other straws I'm used to but I actually love that, for uninterrupted liquid flow as well as practical use cases. I did purchase some other straws to try out with it, but loved the original straw so much that I've decided to just stick with that for now. The handle has such a smooth, silky feel to it, with a wonderful grip that makes holding it oh so comfortable. I already had been using a 40 oz tumbler prior to this, for several months, so I'm used to the heft with and without liquid/ice/etc inside. I don't plan on using it for heated beverages, just water/water flavorings, so I can't speak to the efficacy of its warmth mechanism(s). The lid screws on perfectly tightly and the straw to open middle part requires a good bit of force to turn, meaning there won't be any accidental shifts to worry about just casually bumping into it or carrying it around. The construction overall is extremely sturdy.
Even if it wasn't hyped, even if it suddenly became the world's worst/most hated cup of all time come tomorrow morning, this is a fantastic product I am already thoroughly enjoying and will continue to do so for as long as it will last me, hopefully years to come. Order one if you want to be temporarily considered 'cool' or whatever, sure, but definitely order one if you want a quality beverage companion at your side at all times that actually lives up to its reputation.
First and foremost, the Citron color is absolutely stunning. It's bright, cheerful, and adds a pop of personality to my everyday routine. Whether I'm sipping on my flavored water or staying hydrated during a busy work shift, this tumbler stands out in the best way possible.
In terms of durability, the Stanley 40oz Tumbler exceeds expectations. Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, it's built to withstand the rigors of daily use and outdoor adventures. I've accidentally dropped it a few times, and not a dent or scratch in sight! Plus, it's dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze after a long day.
What truly sets this tumbler apart is its sleek and functional design. The slim profile fits perfectly in my hand and cup holder, while the double-wall vacuum insulation keeps my beverages hot or cold for hours on end. Whether I'm enjoying a piping hot cup of hot cocoa or a refreshing cold drink, the Stanley tumbler delivers every time.
Overall, I highly recommend the Stanley 40oz Tumbler in Citron to anyone in search of a stylish, durable, and functional hydration solution. It's the perfect companion for any adventure, and its easy washability ensures that it will remain a staple in my daily routine for years to come.
**I will update this in 10 years if I haven't aged and post pics of the before and after.
Edit: I'm leaving my initial dislike portion, but after using this cup for a couple of days I have to say I LOVE it. We've had a variety of 30oz thermos cups and none have performed as well as this one. I take a thermos cup with ice and tea or ice and water to bed every night...for a midnight sip. Neither the Rtic, Yeti or others have maintained the ice and the quality of what I'm drinking the way this Stanley cup has done. If I take a sip in the morning I'm greeted with watery iced tea. With the Stanley the drink is the same as when I left it 7 or 8 hours before. With a little practice you can situate the lid where the straw is in the position you want. I'll be ordering another cup or two.
What I dislike: it can be used with the straw or you can drink from it by rotating the straw portion to the side. The problem is that this allows liquid up in under the part on top that rotates. Not sure yet how easy this will be to clean. I don't normally use a straw, but I'm keeping this one and getting extra straws.
There are a lot of reviews in regards to it being real or fake. I took detailed pictures of everything on the blue one and included the confirmation number from amazon in an email to stanley. The dude that responded said it was authentic.
The blue one did not come packed well and does have a scratch (picture included). The pink one was packaged well and is flawless.
Shipping took forever but it came earlier then expected.
I took 1 star off for the scratch.
If you are looking for a stanley these ones are at retail price. All of the pool blue and pink dusks I have found for sell are online, used, scratched and marked up to $90 and are unavailable on stanleys website.
So I am happy with my purchase and feel confident they are authentic.
Why does it matter if its authentic? Because if it is a knock off you don't know what material is used to make it and you are paying full price!
Also there is a lot of buzz going around about the lead in stanley cups. Its sealed with lead, so there is no lead on the outside or where your drink goes. Its only on the inside of the cup and will only be exposed if the button (circle piece on bottom) falls out. With that being said I only hand wash incase it were to fall out. If it falls out in the washing machine then your whole machine would be contaminated.
Fire and Ice Magic: ★★★★★
I bought several of these cups as holiday gifts after witnessing a video where someone's car was on fire, and it came out still chillin' like it just took a ice bath. Now, if I ever find myself in a car fire, at least I know my drink will stay refreshingly cold. Who knew a tumbler could moonlight as a superhero in a car-b-que scenario?
Size Matters, But in a Good Way: ★★★★★
Yes, the cup is huge. It's the Arnold Schwarzenegger of tumblers. But, hey, we're not just sipping beverages; we're making a statement! I feel like a beverage royalty member, and I'm half expecting a tiny butler to pop out of the lid with a monocle.
Amazon Wins, Target Brawls Lose: ★★★★★
I refuse to stand in line at Target and risk a showdown for these cups. My quest for hydration greatness should not come with a side of potential fisticuffs. Thank you, Amazon, for sparing me the unnecessary drama and allowing me to buy these cups peacefully from the comfort of my couch.
Elite Club Vibes: ★★★★★
Yes, I feel like part of an exclusive club, a secret society of cup enthusiasts who appreciate the finer things in life—like not having to worry about our ice melting too soon. It's like being in a covert operation, only with more hydration and fewer spy gadgets.
Cost Be Damned: ★★★★★
Despite the price tag, I would buy this cup over and over again. It's not just a cup; it's a lifestyle. A Stanley Quencher lifestyle where my drinks stay colder than my ex's heart. Totally worth every penny, and I might even consider taking out a second mortgage for extra cups! LOL
Hydration Win: ★★★★★
Bonus points for unintentionally encouraging me to drink more water! It's like my daily water intake has doubled, thanks to the irresistible allure of this magical tumbler. I'm practically a health guru now, all because of a cup.
In conclusion, the Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler is not just a cup; it's a comical, oversized, fire-resistant marvel that brings joy, hydration, and the dream of tiny butlers to our lives. Five stars for making me feel like a hydration superhero and for avoiding potential Target brawls. ????????❄️✨
If you are looking to buy one for yourself, just treat yourself, you wont regret it.
I do find that my kids drink out of my cup more when I am using a Stanley than any other water bottle!
First and foremost, the temperature retention is nothing short of remarkable. Whether I'm sipping on a piping hot coffee or a refreshing cold beverage, the Quencher H2.0 maintains the ideal temperature for an extended period. It truly lives up to its promise of keeping drinks hot or cold for an impressively long time.
One of the standout features is its leak-proof design. I've put this thermos through various tests, and not a single drop has escaped. This reliability is a game-changer for those who carry their drinks on the go, ensuring a mess-free experience every time.
Cleaning is a breeze with the Quencher H2.0. Its simple construction makes it easy to disassemble and put back together, and the added bonus of being dishwasher safe is a time-saver.
The ergonomic design of this thermos deserves a special mention. It's not only easy to hold but also exudes an elegant charm. The thoughtful construction makes it a pleasure to use, and it fits seamlessly into my daily routine.
Fit the cup holders on my '21 Prius perfectly. They're snug, but they won't wobble around. Hard to find good travel mugs which fit cup holders.
Has a screw-on top lid. Keeps the beverage in place and can tighten down.
The straw has a gasket which keeps it firmly in place, it won't leak around the edges of the straw.
Heavy, sturdily made, this will last for years. My warmest recommendation.
Exceptional Insulation:
Keeps Beverages at Perfect Temperature: The Stanley Quencher H2.0 Tumbler is a game changer when it comes to keeping drinks hot or cold. Its vacuum insulation technology is top-notch, maintaining the temperature of my coffee and iced tea for hours without any noticeable change.
Robust Design:
Durable and Stylish: I'm impressed with the sturdy build of this tumbler. The stainless steel design not only looks sleek and modern but also withstands daily wear and tear. It's survived numerous drops and still looks as good as new.
Versatile Usage:
Ideal for a Range of Beverages: Whether it's a hot morning coffee, a refreshing iced tea, or just staying hydrated with water, this tumbler handles it all brilliantly. The versatility it offers is a big plus, making it my go-to container for almost any drink.
Thoughtful Features:
Convenient Lid and Straw: The lid design is leak-resistant, which gives me peace of mind when I'm on the go. The inclusion of a straw is a thoughtful touch, enhancing the drinking experience, especially for cold beverages.
Portability:
Perfect for On-the-Go: Its size fits comfortably in most car cup holders, and it's easy to carry around, making it ideal for daily commutes, outdoor adventures, or just lounging at home.
Conclusion:
Highly Recommend for Daily Hydration Needs: The Stanley Quencher H2.0 Tumbler has become an essential part of my daily routine. Its superior insulation, durability, and user-friendly features stand out in the world of insulated tumblers. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, stylish, and functional drink container.
The only thing to consider is if 40oz is too much for your needs. To me it has been useful to have the larger cup.
Love it so much, can’t wait to buy many more colors if this one lasts like it should!!! 10/10 recommend!!!
I had one tumbler that didn’t have a handle, and gets nasty with that rubber ring, and another that’s too large, 64 oz, without a handle, and a pain to lug around, so this Stanley is perfect. I love the color and the handle. I use it daily and drink even more water. I workout regularly, so it’s perfect to keep near during workouts—- and the water stays cold throughout the day. I purchased the jade green color— it’s so pretty. I’m sure it will last for years.
Overall, I do recommend the purchase of the Deco Stanley collection if you drink a lot of liquid like myself and want something a bit more stylish than a plain cup.
But if I had to choose it again, I simply wouldn't buy it and I rather buy a Stanley cup with leak proof. I'm the kind of person who likes to take her water bottle everywhere and I simply can't with this one, because of everything I just said. So if you want this quencher, think it about it twice! In any case, it's a great product and great brand.
I've had several stainless steel water bottles but this is my first tumbler. Other than having a handle, quality seems to be similar to others with a powder coat finish such as Fifty/Fifty, Hydro flask, Adidas, and a generic unbranded one.
I told him he had to get one himself and he tried to get this model on TMEU. Within 3 days the logo wore off and the TMEU brand and the lid broke, so I got him this and he loves it!
He likes it because he can hold it with gloves on and he dropped it a few times and did no real damage (small dent, that's it). It holds water ice cold, and the ice lasts a very long time, ... good brand and build IMO
When my Stanley 64 oz’er came I was stoked UNTIL I opened the box there was literally no packaging just a cup thrown in a box and the instructions inside the cup
In addition the said $60 cup has a DEEP gouge on the side I was pretty jazzed ta receive this cup as I have a ton but this is my first Stanley and at this point my last
Absolutely unacceptable for the price we pay for these cups
Ok so quick update I called Amazon and they had a new cup in the mail and at my step within about 3 days so I upped my one star to a four that being said the cup is awesome holds ice did days LITERALLY my only complaint is the lid does indeed leak like crazy but I guess that’s the price ya pay ta be cool and trendy all and all I think it’s a super cool and useful cup and the good outweighs the bad
