The partnership adds a tally to its expansive roster of product on October 12th as it drops a trio of the Nike Air Force 1 Low. Modified with a trail-ready twist that couples GORE-TEX technology with basketball heritage, the upcoming pair indulges in a “Grey Fog” tone that harkens back to hiking options from the Swoosh. An full-ankle lacing system draws inspiration from the Air Revaderchi, while pull tabs at the heel and plastic components on the top and bottom of the tongue add function and ruggedness, respectively, to the Air Force 1. Underfoot, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic creation maintains its general look and cushioning, but seemingly takes on a partly-recycled makeup as suggested by the splatter pattern across the midsole, a design detail that’s dominated “Move to Zero” product.
